Woodvault/javaman build
« on: August 10, 2016, 11:22:00 PM »
Gregg will be starting my build in the next couple weeks so just thought I'd make a build along post and maybe some of you could post some options you wish you would've done or post some pics maybe. I ordered my veneers from idahocurt yesterday I'll try posting a pic but I've never posted one yet.

Not 100% set on everything yet but thinking 54" 2 piece take down, 50@28. Curt sent Gregg some extra pieces of wood from same tree for the tips and accents. Riser will be phenolic with dark myrtle and beavertail grip

Stunning choice!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Yes elkheart. Curt went well over my expectations with these veneers. He's the man when it comes to it

Nice choice. I love an Elkheart. What does his build time run lately. Reason I asked is it seems this bow is a hot item now.

I waited a year, almost to the day, for mine and when I picked it up he told me he was going full time.

A lot of bowyers get burned out trying to work a full time day job and still put out high quality bows. I was really glad to hear the news. That should bring his wait time WAY down.

Drop him a line and ask what his current delivery times are running.

Just got this pic from Gregg of the veneers and accents at his house. Getting pretty excited about this one.
