Looking at trying the Easton Aftermath arrows.  Anyone out there using them and have some comments.

I don't shoot Aftermaths, but I do use the now discontinued Beman Pork Chops which as far as I can tell have identical specs. There are very durable and consistent in spine but a few were a bit crooked. For the price I think they are great. I use the less than perfect shafts for stumping and target practice.

Been shooting the Aftermath and Pork Chop for two years.
I am sure that these two shafts are identical.

Very durable shaft. Shot through two deer last season neither was a pass through, I figured both shafts would be broken when I recovered the deer. I was pleasantly surprised both were still perfect, still shooting them today.

Thanks for the feedback.  What is your arrow setup.  Are you using a brass insert n them.  I'd like to get my arrow weight to about 500 grains.  Running a full length with 50 brass insert and 150 head might get me there.

tracker 12,
My set up is 500 spine, 30.75" long. 250gr head, with 3 X 5.75" banana feathers.
I shoot this out of a 43lb A&H longbow.

Honestly, this setup bares shafts terrible! Consistently shows that this is too week. For perfect bare shaft flight I should use a 175gr head. However, with the big feathers it flies absolutely beautiful and I like the extra weight on the front.

I do a lot of 40-60 yard shooting in the backyard, and they flew just as true as arrows that are perfectly bare shaft tuned.

Hope this helps!
