First custom bow(eye candy galore)
« on: August 15, 2016, 12:27:00 PM »
This is the first bow I have ever received new.  The wait was not long, but it still sucked! haha.  I don't know how you guys can wait over a year for a bow.. but more power to you!

Will Cocke has outdone himself on this bow.  It is a 16" riser with wenge and bocote, the limbs are bocote(recurve) and zebra wood(hybrid).  I told him what I wanted expecting it to look good, but not to look that stinking good.

It should be here some time this week, and if all works out, it will get its first Hero pic this week over a hog!

Daniel, congrats on the new bow it's a looker for sure. When you get it would you mind posting a few strung pics so we can see the strung profile?

Great looking bow. I've never heard of the bowyer, "Will Cocke 2", until now. Looks like he did you good. I expect others on TradGang will be taking notice of his work. Congrats and good shooting.

Hopefully not stepping out of line here, but since you mentioned people taking notice of his work I'm going to mention it.  I believe he's considering creating the next Hope and Faith for our viewing and shooting pleasure.       not sure if it's a done deal, but I saw it mentioned on another recent thread.

I know a guy who makes strings and if I can't get him to make me one, i'll definitely get with you.  ;)

What a beauty! Enjoy it!
