Objective achieved!   :jumper:    :jumper:    :jumper:    :jumper:    :jumper:

Wow...am I whooped.....I thought I walked a lot at Cohutta.  Walking people into stands in different locations, walking to my stand, and scouting during the breaks had me hopping! Faught the full moon head on, and finnaly whooped it!

I told ya it was gonna be a doozie....

Lots of great food, experiences and memories.

More later......

Terry

Curious to hear if you guys had any luck Sunday?  I saw 2 small 4 pointers about 8:30 and they put on a little shoving match about 5 yards from my treestand.

BTW,  Good to meet you and the other guys this weekend.

Just got home and it was a long day!

No family.  They called and were at Cabela's wanting too know if I wanted anything......

Thought about a tree stand for about a half a second.

No pic as I left my camera in Terry's car.

I will try to tell some of the story tomarrow.  For now let me just say that it was a pleasure meeting and sharing a camp with everyone and yes I did put on some pounds thanks to Mr. Walker.

Start saving your money cuz the kids are geten some for this thing next year!

Just finished dinner with the family and telling them about the people in camp.

My wife was very concerned with all the cooking Bob did if he was able to get in enough hunting!

Oh brother.

We all rolled into camp at the same time Thursday afternoon,....and the magic of the Paradise began.  Those that have not been there before are in wonder of its beauty, and anticipation of the hunt......

Gear was unloaded, and everyone was getting settled into camp and getting there bows strung.  We had time to do a little scouting before dark, so that's what we did......then it was off to The Catfish House!!!

OK Guys....feel free to chime in at any time!!!

Mitch....your camera will be there tomorrow.

The flight home went smooth and Wildcat was waiting there at the airport, just purring to pick me up and git me home.  Absence do make the heart grow fonder.       :D

WOW, what a hunt!!!!!

It was a pleasure to finally meet Mitch and Vance and Fred, and great to meet up again with Terry, Charlie and Bob.  We had a great camp, lots of chatter and fun and that FANTASTIC cooking that Mr. Bob Walker dished out day after day - man, I tell ya that feller can COOK up a storm, and my second and third helpings proved that to me day after day, right Bob?    :D

I never measure a hunt by the game taken, but by my experiences with man and nature - the camp out and the gettin' afield - and this year's St Jude's hunt was all of that, including a Paradise Grand Slam for one outstanding bowhunter that involved a heckuva buck and a fine piggy to boot.  More on that soon enough.  Stay tuned ...
