Got home yesterday and the bow was sitting on the kitchen table safe and sound only problem was I didn't get home till late so didn't get a chance to play with it. Well I made up for it today and I will say TKO was right on the money about how shooter friendly this bow is with either set of limbs if deer season was open here I'd have no hesitation talking this bow hunting after only one day of shooting it.
Both limbs draw smooth, perform excellent, and are quiet. The riser is a little bigger than I personally like although may be part of the reason the bow is so stable. The grip is very consistent although I would prefer a little less in the palm.
The craftsmanship is amazing probably the best looking limb tips I've seen.
Overall after only one day with her I'd say if you like a 3 piece bow with a little physical weight to it that performs with the best of them without giving up anything in terms of shootability and is quiet you will love a Black River bow.

Did you prefer the recurve or longbow limbs?

TKO, I'm a recurve guy but I actually preferred the hybrid limbs on this bow. Smooth as butter

What is your draw length? I draw 29" and I preferred the hybrid limbs also. Bronz preferred the recurve limbs and I think he draws 28".

Graps, an interesting observation about the limbs. What arrows are you feeding the bow? Look like woods?
