A lucky shot in 1958

Veteran's day 1969. 1967 1/2 Bear Super Kodiak. It was the first year trying aluminum arrows and a LaFond Lightning Four Broadhead. Taken at Quantico Marine Corp Base.

From 1987. I was about to climb down from my treestand and ready to call it quits for the evening hunt, and heard him coming through the corn field. He came right under my  stand and I took him with a Zwickey Eskimo out of my Bear Magnesium handle takedown bow.

Thanks fellows for the kind words.  Sika Deer taken at Assateague Island in 1987 here in Maryland with a Bear Wood handle takedown recurve and a wolverine broadhead. I did not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle at the time, so I had to walk out with him on my back, but it was a labor of love(LOL)
