I just made some with 75x105 and they work great .
I doubt it would make much difference which configuration you use .
I have shot both and the only difference I can see is how they look .
So do what you think looks better .

I like 4 x 90 as it looks more uniform. But, I may try out the other just for gigles and see if it allows me to shoot with cock feather to nose easier. With 4 x 90, I have to put one of the feathers straight down which seems like it would cause a fletching clearance problem.

I use 4x90. Easy to spot any defects. No clearance issues for me, and I don't use feathers to anchor.

I've shot four fletch at 90,75x105 and 60x120 and they all shot good.I don't think it matters on a well tuned arrow. So I shoot all mine at 90 now, just like the looks better.Even made some Axis FMJ I shoot 4x90 on,works great!

90 for me as well, and I've never had any clearance issues. I've tried to other placements but never saw any improvement and 4x90 is simple and allows quick nocking when needed.

I like four inch 4 X 90. The "why" would be because I find that 4 x 90 has more clearance between fletchings for gluing than 75 x 105 which helps on skinny shafts.

Another thing thats nice about four fletch is that you can use smaller feathers. And they'll steer the biggest broadhead just fine. And of coarse less weight in the rear helps with more foc.

Hope this doesn't hijack this thread...
Newer shooter question on 4 fletching:
If you use the "flat four" fletching (75 / 105 degrees), what is the preferred way to orient the finished arrow for shooting?. "Lower and flatter" (105 degrees "horizontal", or "taller and thinner? (105 degrees vertical)"
Why?

riser... since the numbers are the degrees of angle between the feathers the greater space (105) gives the best clearance from the side of the bow. So the wide angle against the side of the bow and narrow angle (75) up.
