So I have the perfect spot to deer hunt .
It's in some very thick white spruce .
I have a spot about 10 yards from where three runs come together and go through the trees , then opens up on the other side .
I've put my trail cam in there and there is lots of traffic at all times of the day .
This last time I was checking the camera and there was two fawns on the camera with the moma .
My wife was sitting in the truck and I was telling her about the pictures .
As we were leaving , we turned on the dirt road that my blind is only about 20 yards from and there stood the fawns that I was just telling my wife about .
They were rite there at my blind .
They watched as we drove by .
My wife laughingly said " you sure have them fooled ".    
Yep , they don't even know I'm there .    :rolleyes:

They know it isn't season yet.  My Dad always said Martians would transport all the deer onto a space ship until January 15.  The deer just disappear.

Fawns are dumb. Have a feeling things will change once the season opens but hope they don't. Be sure to let us know how that spot works out.
