Booked 2017 Alberta Moose Hunt... Which Bow?

I just got a ThunderChild 56" 51# @ 28" and I absolutely love it! I also have a 60" Tall Tines coming that will come in around 56# @ 28". Will the extra 5# make that much of a difference in my kill potential? I am currently experimenting with arrow spine/weight and find 2018's cut to 30" with a 200gr broadhead fly pretty darn well out of the ThunderChild. Arrow weight is around 620 gr. Very comfortable with the ThunderChild and need to spend more time with the TT but I still have plenty of time before my encounter with a moose. What do you think???

I think either would work , but on a moose , you want all the help you can get .
Just go with the one you are most confident in .

Man, I hope this goes better than NF!
I'm sure you will find a suitable bow, and good luck!

Yeah Bisch, me too! Feel pretty good about the outfitter, Savage Encounters. We've spoken several times and they seem to know bow hunting! I don't think we can go wrong with Bowhunting Safari Consultants. We'll see!

I think if you can shoot them both equally, the. Go with the heavier draw weight. You never know when it might just save you! If you can't shoot them equally well, then I would go with the setup you shoot he best and have the most confidence in.

Either bow will do the trick. Just shoot the one you handle better. Your equipment seems okay, so just hone the hunting skills. It sounds like you have real fun on your horizon.
