The only bow I've named is my favorite, my pse talon 54@31. I call her Sweetheart because she is the sweetest shooting bow I own even though she is only 58 inches long

Never really named one before, but I actually picked one up used for my wife to shoot with me earlier this year.  She enjoys shooting with me, but doesn't want to hunt with it.  The thing is, her bow is the best shooting bow in my house, so it's probably going to be my primary hunting bow this year.  My wife is part of an online community where she goes by the screen name "Serenity", so I've been calling her bow by that name.  So I guess for this season, my mistress is named after my wife.

Mine isn't a mistress, but it does have a name.  I have the name "Colonel" on it, after my grandfather's nickname.  Everybody called him "Colonel" from his years in the service.  He's been gone a few years, but I thought that it would be a good way to take him to the woods with me.  He never was a hunter, but he always liked to hear from my brothers and I about our hunts or see anything that we happened to tag.

Mine is made from wood from trees from my property here in Riley Indiana. Plum, Black Oak and Mulberry, along with Teak and
Mahogany from family members. I get to take some family and memories with me each time I pick it up.

Well mine aren't really sweet heart names .
My 60# Bear Takedown I call The Big Dog .
My  Kodiak Magnum that I've had sense 1973 I call The Old K-Mag .
My Flatline Hypertensions longbow was named when I got it . It's The Wormhole .
The rest are just called what they are .

I've taken to calling my BW PCH "Dawn". It's made of Missouri Osage and is the prettiest bow I've ever seen. I've got pics around here somewhere if you want to look. When I get home I may upload a few.

Got two: Northern Mist custom Baraga has the name, "Stewarts Stik' written on it and I made a self bow out of Osage and wrote, "Olde Yeller" on it.

I used to make/ put together Fenwick fishing rods. I traded one of my rods for a longbow that a guy made. There was no name on it but my son nick named it, "Billy Ber ru" afterTed Knights wooden putter on Caddy Shack.

BB, the work is done by the bamboo core and glass finish. Big Jim did a great job in making my wishes a reality.

I have a Black Hawk Avenger that I reshaped the grip, recontoured the shelf, and refinished.  So now I call it my "Re"venger.
