Sounds like you guys had a great trip.  You have the fever now  Rubline. Its awesome to just see, smell and feel the purity of the mountains. The Elk are just a great bonus.

Thanks for sharing my friend... Sounds like some great comradery along with lifetime friends made. I miss the mountains, I have to I don't miss 10,000 feet, lol.

Congrats on a great hunt once again. You definitely have the G0-Gettum attitude which often translates to a successful hunt.

Your writing skills equal your hunting abilities. You, my friend should write a book. I would be honored to buy the 1st signed copy.  :)

Thanks again everyone.......

I only saw 2 good Muledeer buck on this trip but they were very nice deer , in the area I was I have saw many good bucks but always down closest to town.

A quick list of my most used gear..
Same old BruzerGear pack....
GoLite tent-think they are no longer made...
White house wrap material for tarps...
JetBoil or Dan's kettle over the fire.....
Trek poles...
Leather gloves...
Platypus filter , or Dan's kettle.....
Merino wool layers...
Good sealed boots...
Sock liners , smartwool socks....
Wool vest...
Old hat , wool beanie....
Wool gloves....
Firstlite pants ( bought used , awesome )
Gators ( first year to use them,never without them again )
 

Most of my gear is bought used for cheap , the new gear I find on sale , much of my clothing is thrift store , it is all easy to find if you do some looking..
