Practice with GoPro head mount
« on: September 15, 2016, 10:30:00 AM »
My first started thread so this is a bit of a test as well. I had a practice round on the local 3D range today and played with settings on my GoPro. These where made with 1080/30fps in narrow view with a head mount and on the ground. Still get a fuzzy picture on release.

Bow is a Dryad Orion ACS RC #54 at 28", with 28.75" DL and around 10 GPP arrow.

Nice shooting, when I grow up I want to be able shoot like that.

Good shooting! I will be using my gopro to *hopefully* record my first trad deer this year. Shooting in "narrow" seems like the way to go. Otherwise it looks like you're shooting at 60 yards with how wide the shot is.

Yes, I shot a few deer with wheels in wide. You can't even see the deer, even narrow is a bit wide. The vibration on the shot is another annoying thing that I am trying to get away. Thinking of a over the shoulder look mounted to my back pack for spot and stalk.

That would be cool! I'm thinking about having the gopro on the bow and my camcorder on either my tripod or making a head mount for it...I think a company makes them, but I like making my own.
