Tonight I was blessed with a fine 8 point. I saw him the last 2 times out from my hang on stand about seventy yards out. I adjusted with my old Loggy climber and he came I as was hoped for. Four yard shot,  down in thirty yards. Home made t/d longbow. Hope to get a photograph up soon. Having a hard time logging in on my I pad. Good luck, safety first. G

Way to go Glen. Nothing like a kill with your own homemade bow.

Good job Alex.

Good job on the deer guys ! My wife had 2small bucks close to her this morning but couldn't get a shot. The forkhorn caught her drawing ,trotted 40 yds and then laid down to watch her for 1/2 an hour. I stalked to 25yds from a pair of does on my way back to the house but couldn't get a good angle and they finally saw me. Beautiful morning in the woods ! I should have stayed out but I have to make some money sometime...

Congrats everyone. I finally had a chance to get out and hunt here in NY.  I shot this nice doe this morning. She should be fantastic table fare. Not much of a story. She came to about 10 yards and gave me a good shot. I thought I hit a bit back and backed out till about noon. She only went about 80 yards. Stalker Coyote and Snuffer head.

Ha! Don't know how that picture got there. I didn't shoot that pike with a bow.  Here's the right one...I hope.
