I made the arrows, quiver, arm guard, bow, and string myself.  I love the process of making and preparing my own gear.  That really amps up the satisfaction when it all comes together. The shafts are Sitka spruce. Next I might need to make my own trade points.

Nice work!  Last year I only drew my bow once, and I never released it...

This year I've already had 3 close encounters... no shots yet, but the year is going better for sure.

Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Well here is my setup.  The bow is a 67" (because my new edge sander took a nasty bite out of one end) 54@28 Hill style.  I draw it to about 29.5". It is narrow 1" at fades nd 3/8" at tips, and deep stacked with high taper rate(.660 and .010”/")  The first time I had it on the scale it was 70+@28 so after losing 2 inches it took a lot to get it down to the 50s and keep it straight and true.  I rounded every corner on this bow.

It is ambrosia maple veneers with walnut core lams and a Birdseye maple riser. It is a sweet little shooter.

Still showing some blood I missed.
String is 8 strand double served D10

I called it Curculionid after the family of beetle that causes the ambrosia maple.
