Been lurking and reading a long time and finally bit the bullet and bought a traditional bow last year. I don't post much, but read a lot. Between reading, and the local bow shop, I got arrows tuned and it setup and practiced a ton. I felt confident to 20 yards, and decided to take it out this year. I have killed a pile of deer with a compound but think I might be converted now. Its a way different experience with traditional archery!
My setup is a #50 Kodiak Magnum, Gold tip Trad hunter 500s/100 grain brass/125 grain magnus. Had this doe come in the other night feeding and finally made it to 21 yards, put a perfect shot on her and only had a 30 yard recovery!
