Well hunting has been a little slow here at home, but I had booked an exotic hunt a couple moths ago. It started Friday evening, and about 30 minutes into my first sit, I had a group of Fallow does come in. I had to wait a little bit for them to get into range, and they were a little spooky, but finally the biggest one gave me a broadside shot at 16 yards. I was able to connect, and within just a few minutes after the shot I had my hands on my first traditional archery kill other than a couple squirrels!! Saturday evening I managed to miss a pig, just got in a hurry and didn't pick a spot and shot right over the top of it. Anyway, it was a great hunt and I couldn't be more happy!! Got her with my Maddog Mountaineer and a VPA 200 grain 3 blade.
