Nice job guys ! Speed bump I love that Arapaho could you take a close up of the broadhead on the riser ? I'm a big fan of Bobs bows and have 7 or 8 of them ( still have my three favorites)  but never had an Arapaho.

Since this is a hunt/success thread..
Deer have been scarce in my area but not bears. This youngster cut the trail I walked in on and followed it to my tree. He's safe for this year.

Mass bow season opened Monday the 17th. I shot a 5pt buck on Tuesday late afternoon with a 7 yard shot from my Bob Lee Hunter recurve.

Things have been slow in my areas. Some monsters have been cruising at night I have on camera, but little daytime activity. Hopefully this cool weather will help out.

Two down so far for me. Lots of close calls this week and I let a spike walk which was hard to do. Back at again tomorrow morning,

Since the deer hunting has been real slow, I decided to have a go at a couple small turkey flocks occasionally putting in an appearance on my land. A pop-up blind, hen decoy, and a little 'old school' wingbone turkey call and was ready to go. After 2 1/2 hours of light calling, a flock of 8 came running in led by the boss hen who proceeded to harass and strut around the deke. A close shot, short run, and I had a bird in time for Thanksgiving!
