I like this riser that Bob Morrison has in stock...Macasser Ebony and Osage.

Osage and walnut look good too. Osage and just about any contrasting wood looks good IMO.

I have an osage and zircote riser vortex with bocote  veneers on the limbs - beautiful contrast.  Also have a thunderstick with osage limbs and cocobolo riser that is beautiful. I agree with the above post, any contrasting wood would look great.

Personally I'm not into contrast unless it is Osage and snake.

My favorite is cocobolo dominant riser with osage accents and osage limbs.  Looks awesome and looks even better a year or two down the line when the osage mellows.

I made this R/D bow a few months ago. Osage and cocobolo.

Try Osage and Purple Heart.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
