We have lost another good man and a good bowyer
« on: November 02, 2016, 10:59:00 AM »
Yesterday we found out that Ben Graham had passed away. He was a good person and well known around the circuit for his Hummingbird bows. His bows were second to none in appearance and performance. He and his wife Linda were both successful at tournament shooting and hunting. They both did a lot to promote traditional archery. He was the president of the local trad club "Barefoot" until recently and had contributed to the success of several clubs with his membership and as an officer. Please pray for Linda..., she has endured a lot through Ben's illness.

I had Ben build my first custom recurve bow.  Had Ben build a custom recurve for my wife.  Bought a dynastick longbow from them, also. Linda and I shot a round at Hickory to celebrate.  Ben and Linda are great people.  Sorry to hear this.  Prayers to the family.  Jeff Harper

Sorry to hear this. My first 2 customs were Hummingbirds.
Ben was one of the good guys, he would stand behind his products.
 Prayers sent.

Man that sucks.......he was always nice to talk to when I saw him at the spring shoot in Florida [TBOF]. He made a real pretty bow......

I met Ben over 20 years ago at Union Grove and he built 4 bows for me over the years. I had the pleasure to pick one up at his shop and shoot the range around his house with him. We also shot with Ben and Linda several times over the years at various shoots.

Ben was classy man with a great talent in bow building.

RIP Ben. Linda and the rest of the family, you are in our family's prayers.

The gifts that he bestowed upon the traditional community may have likely touched many of us in ways that we may never know.

May God be with him>>>
