I'd like to hear from their T/D's. Specifically the Wesley Special T/D owners. I think I have to have one. Thanks Trad Gang.

I've had two T/Ds,one a Big Five with an extra lam of bamboo (essentially a Wesley Special) and an Owl. Good tight fit in the sleeves but can be a bear to pull apart. I used string wax or a light coat of Teflon spray on the sleeves.

I have a Cheetah t/d. Very nice bow. The t/d sleeve is very stable. You do have to yank on it a bit to separate, but I see that as a positive.

The way they put them together with the sleeve just doesn't look right IMO. I've also had sleeves click. Now I either use a connexion hinge bow Turay made me or I make the socket.

No heavier physical weight and the t/d sleeve feels almost round.
