starting to see deer movement
« on: November 09, 2016, 03:38:00 PM »
Hunting from ground this year.   had a small 8 point buck walk up to me within 10 yards.   I think he thought I was a deer as I had slipped in quietly and the leaves were wet from a light rain.
Also saw a 3 pt, a spike, a small doe with a yearling.    All under 30 yards.   The oak saplings around here still have leaves on so the ground cover is good.
