Thanks all, yes Blacktail in my opinion are some of the prettiest deer in North America, not to mention how stunning Blacktail country is.
Probably my favorite, hunting rutting Blacktail bucks.

You are the man!!! Thanks for posting. You sure did it right by taking advantage of the early rut. I have heard several stories of the bucks going crazy at the end of Oct. Wish we trad hunters could hunt at that time without giving up an archery tag.

I agree beautiful deer, fell in love with them and the forest the first year I hunted the coast up there for Rosie's. I hunted all over your state for many years but always wanted go back and chase them around. Great picks!   :thumbsup:

Season opens again this weekend , time to get out and try for my second, rut is in full swing right now and rain/snow in the forecast.
