This will be frowned upon by some, I expect. Hope I don't offend any with this post..
A couple of years ago Big Jim had the Grayling Green Kodiaks on sale.. One was a 64" 35 pounder.
I grabbed it for my oldest daughter. I tuned it with a couple of shafts and it's shoots quite well. A hoot to play with. At my draw length, on my scale, I'm right at 40lbs, just a smidgen under.
Sooo, with some CE90's and two bladed Eskimo's I went to sit a tree. At dark a couple of small sows came in and I took an angling away shot at this one. She was maybe 10 yards.
At the shot the shaft buried to the feathers. The hole you see is the entrance, the exit was in the middle of the off shoulder. There was an immediate and copious blood trail from where she stood to where she fell about 60 yards away..
The camera is sitting pretty much on the ground making her look bigger than she was, no tripod. She probably weighed 75 pounds..
