Barry shot two nice bucks in early November.  Gene shot a doe in October and is likely trying to fill his buck tag as we speak.

Hey guys: Speaking for myself, I shot one on Nov. 7th. I honestly didn't intend to shoot him and only film him. But an hour later he came by again cruising for chicks. The closer he got the neater he looked. He has a deformed right antler with a lot of character. When he got to ten yards I lost control and he went down under fifty yards. Then on Nov. 21st. I filled my LOT tag with a beauty. He came by directly downwind of me and hopped an old internal fence in the timber five yards from my stand. As soon as his front hooves hit the ground he broke into a run. I haven't shot a running deer in decades but instincts took over. I swung on him and drove a perfect arrow right behind the shoulders for a complete pass-through at 10 yds. I still got it!! Ha. This one meant a lot to me as I killed him on the 57th anniversary of the day I shot my first whitetail. He measured 161 2/8" and has heavy 6 1/2" bases. I don't really know how to post pictures but if someone wants I'll forward some to you that you're welcome to post. Best of luck to all. Thanks. BW

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
