Thanks a bunch guys.

The bow is a zipper recurve that my brother gave to me for my birthday a year ago. I'm trying to follow the good Dr. Asby's recommendations so I'm shooting a 600 grain carbon with Stos heads. I didn't have to look too hard for the blood on this girl. The arrow went in right behind the shoulder blade and out in front of the opposite leg.

Curtis...I wish I could make it to the sweat this year but I got to take the wife and kiddo's on a vacation first.

Congratulations Chris!!  Those yotes can be very elusive game. What an accomplishment to take one with a bow.

Congrats,

I've only seen two with bow in hand.  Both times they saw me at about the same time I saw them and were gone in a flash.

They are definitly hard to get close too and a worthy adversary.

That's awesome! One of my top goals is to also take a coyote with a bow. A week ago Saturday, I saw three of them in an hour all within 15 yards, but no shot. I was hunting the inside corner of a bean field, sitting down in my tree stand facing the woods. I thought I heard something behind me. I turned to see too big ones trotting along the edge of the field through my shooting lane, one behind the other. A half hour later another one comes through. This time, I squeeked at it and stopped it twice, but he was already past my shooting lane. Those things don't sit still for long, especially in the open.

Very nice! I was lucky enough to kill two within 30 seconds of each other several years ago. Both took the same path right under my tree stand. Haven't had a shot at another one since.
