Scent-free hair-gel?
«

OK, perhaps the ladies will be able to help me more on this one: I have long, curly hair. And I'm looking for natural / home-made / scent-neutral hair-gel to use on hunts.
After using H.S. Scents Body/Hair shampoo, my hair is clean... but gets frizzy even in a pony-tail. Hats/ headnets don't keep the stubborn lone hairs from finding their way into my eyes, and I would use my regular styling gel ...if it didn't smell so great!
Would something as simple as scent-free lip-balm work?

Yes, I can help you! In the Cabela's catalog there is a product called Huntress. It is not natural or homemade but it is the only scent free hair gel I have ever seen and I have seen it for the first time just this season. I have some and have tried it once. It is scent free but I have decided, what's the use, if i'm going to put a hat on after using it. It may come in handy sometime though!

Just grow it all the same length and braid it.
Sometimes I feel like following robtattoo's link.

Don't do it son....you'll make us look like a bunch of nancy boys. And for Heaven's sake, don't use the word frizzy..
Just get a bigger hat...you do live in Canada and it gets cold up there. Get a big wool hat.

I can attest to the effectiveness of Robtatoo's "solution" (only I use the cheaper, throw away, hand jobbies). Then all ya gotta do is spritze yer headbone with any good Scent Killer, ever now 'n agin.
I set out to do it for one Deer season - then it became a money saving habit that I liked - LOL.

... at least he had the NUTS to ask the question!
My advise would be to just flame all them frizzy stuff away with your goldsmithing torch

I take a razor to my head every couple days. Nice and smooth. That would solve your gel problem!

Back when I had long hair, I just tied it back with a strip of leather...
Kind of looking forward to growing it again when I retire from law enforcement, except I'll probably look like Dharma's dad, Larry Finklestein...
