As some of you might remember, I made a request a while back asking about friends of Mark....

Well, I sent those friends that replied a little something....

Mark had sent me a 'gift' since he wasn't able to come hunting with me due to his health issues at the time.

That gift was this.....

This gift was for the next group hunt I had at The Bacon Strip for all those to share...and the box got left behind by mistake.

So, I've sat on it and sat on it.....

I decided to send those friends a cigar in memory of Mark...and so I did.

I now have the remainder of the cigars that will be auctioned off on our annual St Jude Auction.  Except the one I keep for myself in honor of Mark.

To Mark:

This gift Sir will give much farther than you ever thought possible....God Bless Mark, we miss you.

             

I never knew Mark, but I imagine he is smiling from above right now!

Mine was put to good use this past weekend.  It was my present from Mark.  Sure wish I could have enjoyed it around a campfire with him.

That's AWESOME Terry! I never met mark either but it appears as though he has made a great impact on you and many others      . We should all strive to be that type of person. I'm sure he is smiling down on you.

Thanks again for the gift Terry. It's a great way to remember a very good friend. I sure do miss shooting arrows and the b.s. every Tuesday and Thursday with Mark. I know he would be thrilled to see his gift going to such a worthy cause as St. Jude. Talk about a wonderful idea Terry !!!
