One bow, one set up challenge

Ok for some time now I have continuously switched set ups. Bows, arrows, gloves, three under split. You name it. This year I am committing myself  to one bow, arrow, glove, quiver set up. That's it I'm gonna pretend I'm on an island and have to mak it work to survive. So who's like me but wants to challenge themselves for 1 year?!!! If so post your complete set up and shooting style. Also let us know if you cave in!!!!!

Here what I'm thinking. Howard Hill Wesley Special 52# @28" 66" bow. Paul Jalon cedar with 160grain arrows and a big shot cross over glove  of course I have to buy all that stuff but that's what I love to do!

I've been doing this quite a while but definitely believe that sticking to one setup helps with consistency.

A lot of people switch from split to three under, change anchor points, and so on when their shooting goes downhill but in reality you could shoot from the hip like the one Wilhelm brother and shoot the lights out.

I sort of envy those that can switch back and forth but I never could do it.  I have shot the same bow for almost 20 years.  I guess this has saved me about 1.6 million dollars on bows over a couple of my friends.

I did that 10 years ago for a summer and the fall hunting season. I just wanted to see how good I could get. My accuracy greatly improved but I missed shooting my other bows. Wasn't worth it. I'll never do it again.

I'm with Ron, don't think I have the will power. If it catches on though, there will be a lot of lonely bows out there!

I don't change the way I shoot and I have 4 bows that I can shoot without changing a thing .
I could shoot only one of them for a year and not hesitate to take one of the others hunting without ever firing a practice shot .
But I have a few others that I would have to walk the arrows in with a few shots and I hardly ever shoot them anyway .

That's one of at least two reasons why I shoot the same bow every day no matter what I'm doing.  Between Jerry and I, we could retire if we could have saved the money we didn't spend.

I've always been a 1 bow guy....54# Widow pch....but I did just get a lil Creep as a Christmas gift....can I make it a longbow only year with that??  Hmmm let me think about it....

I always try to settle to one around August and commit to that bow for the season, or I kill a deer (which means I have the same bow all season). My bows are all so similar in speed that I can pick up any one of them and be right there with the same arrows. Not sure which I will settle on this year. 75% chance it will be my Iroquois with Carbon Express Heritage 150's and a mixture of 250 gr heads.

I commit to 1 hunting bow only from August-December. I usually have my back up ready to go and tuned to but I stick with 1 bow during the season. From January-July I get out my Bear bows from the collection and shoot those a lot. today I brought a 69 super mag and a 59 Grizzly with me to the range. Fun to shoot

I'm at the point now that "less is more" works for me... I just choose one bow from the half dozen in my collection to shoot for a year... Your idea is a good one!

Im gonna be buying a Toelke Whip in a few months, so no way am I committing to one of my bows I own right now, and im certainly not going to be putting off the whip!

I have several bows that I swap in and out of the line-up, but they are all Hill type ASLs with near identical specs. So, in a sense I am committed to a single bow set up. I have tried to go from my longbows to my recurves, and it doesn't take too long to get in the groove, but there certainly is a short but noticeable adjustment period.

In 2015 I shot the same arrows and the same bows all year.  I did change hands a few times and back quivers.
