I used my Palmer Recurve 47# and Heritage 150's, 50gr brass insert and 165gr Snuffers that were hair popping sharp. The arrow embedded in the off shoulder and went through both heart and lungs.

For the last morning I decided to do some spot and stalk and had a great time slowly moving thru the woods with Jimmy and his son Fish. We spotted some hogs bedded but couldn't get on them. Heard another group in the middle of a palmetto patch but backed out since it was to thick.

Our group of five took 9 hogs, all over 100lbs and two of them probably 200lbs.

Going down and hunting with Hoppy and his family is just like hunting with family and is always a great time.

Just finished making Italian sausage with the front shoulders of theses hogs and mixing in some venison from the front shoulders and neck meat of a doe I had taken. The fat on these hogs was amazing.

Mint, I have some buddies on the way to Hoppy's today.  They will start their hunt this evening.  I'll be going next month. Looking forward to their reports.

David, the hunting will only get better as all the acorns start depleting and the rye grass grows in. We had some real big boars come into the feeders but after shooting light while we were waiting to be picked up. Hopefully somebody will get a shot at them.
