I would have to say my custom predator. Its very very smooth and so accurate. I also love my great plains swift to. But if I had to keep only 1 bow it would be my Predator. Hands down the best bow I have ever shot.........

Owned so many bows looking for the perfect one.

TallTines recurve followed in a close second by Schafer Silvertip recurve (I shot lights out with this bow, but shoulder issues forced me to sell).

Oh yes, several times. Two years ago at 70 years old I said I had probably bought the last custom bow I would ever buy. I lied!

Well yes, I suppose I have.  I really like my Morrison ILF recurve.  So much that I've really thinned the herd.  Just couldn't look at the other recurves just sitting on the rack.  I also have a light weight Quinn Stallion riser that I had converted to ILF limbs and I like that a lot.

Of course, I'm always looking at the classifieds for another bow to try...

Yes.  My '66 Kodiak.........and my mid '60s Red Wing Hunter.........and my Flatwoods Custom R/D..........and my late '60s Ben Pearson Hunter..........and my wife's Hoots Custom recurve................

Seriously though, as far as shooting, I prefer the '66 Kodiak.  I just seem to shoot it better.  Only thing is it's a little heavier than I'd prefer at 55#.  Maybe one day I'll pick up one in the 45-50# range.  I do like the shorter 56-58" bows for hunting because they handle easier, but it's usually not to hard to get a spot trimmed back to where the longer bows will work.

The ones in my signature.  Have been shooting them for several years and they always make me real happy!

I have been quite impressed by several other bows... the JavaMan Assyrian, the 64" Cari-bow Silver Fox, and the 66" 3-piece TD Toelke Lynx longbow.  But while I'd love to own one of each, I would not trade for either of my Widows.

I have, Its such a simple bow. I built it for a backpacking bow in a two piece takedown. Its only 52 inches and is a D and R with the same limb profile as my Strike Eagle recurve. Its very light in weight. will go right into my side quiver or in my pack. Shoots like a big bow and honestly I see no need for any other bow besides it. Strings with no stringer and is just a delightful little bow.

God bless, Steve

After many bows, I've found my "one" bow in a Black Widow PMA.  This bow was built for my with bamboo (v) limbs and a greybark (II) riser that has laminations of bamboo in it.  My extra, heavier autumn oak/grey bark combo limbs add to the appeal.  There are other great bows that are fun to shoot, but this one is king.

Wow! I sure hope not. Then I'd have to sell all the rest and some of them I just couldn't bear to part with.
