Nope.
My Dwyer Original is my sweet heart for a few seasons now but fully admit that I'm guilty of having a wandering eye!

Herb Meland 3-piece Pronghorn with resin impregnated maple riser I bought from a late Trad Ganger Milan Rancich (aka Mooseran).  Not only is it a beautiful bow, it is a pure joy to shoot.

A close second is a Bear Alaskan Halloween bow, 50# dual shelf.  Everyone I let shoot it wants to buy one. Only bow I have owned that so many people have said they want one.

Hmm I have had a few.
The first bow I really liked was a Shrew Classic Hunter
Then a Pronghorn
Then a Blacktail
Then a Tall Tines
Then a Liberty Chief
Then a Rampart
Then a JD Berry Morning Star.

I still have four of the above, and really like them; but I could be very happy hunting with any one of them.

Well,
30 years ago Damon Howatts
25 years ago, Bear Takedowns
20 years ago Widows
15 years ago Pittsley Predators
10 years ago A&H ACS CX
8 years ago John McCullough Bows
6 years ago Toelke Bows
5 years ago Gregg Coffey Bows
3 years ago Tall Tines

The circle comes back around, today it's back to Bear Takedowns with a special place in my heart for Tall Tines, McCullough, Toelke and any of Gregg Coffeys creations.

I have a tough time choosing between a Bear Takedown, Gregg Coffey bow or one of Brian's Tall Tines when I hit the woods these days.

On a side note, I wish I had all those Bear Takedowns I sold that I picked up 20 to 25 years ago. Silly me   :dunno:

I have a bunch that I like, but the one I always gravitate back to is one of my Silvertips.

When I started shooting all I shot were Jordan stalkers. Very great bows and great guy to deal with. Since moved on to a zipper, bw PLV, and have a kwyk styk coming but don't shoot any of them better than the first Jordan stalker I ever bought. Wish I never would've sold that bow!

This Caribow Featherhorn I got last fall could be the one. Unless I get another just like it. Talk about a sweet bow.

There you have it.  About 50% of the bows ever made are someone's go to bows. Isn't it nice to have so many choices.

I've never been able to limit myself to one, and never will.  In recurves, I see no need to look further than my Bear takedowns.  In American Semi-longbows, my Hills fill the bill.  My
ACSs are as much as I could ask for in extreme hybrids.

Probably will never be able to narrow it down to one bow in the moderate r/d category, though I have it narrowed to a Liberty Chief, Robertson Vision, J.D. Berry Taipan, or older 64-inch Great Northen Critter Gitter and a few others.

So many bows, so little time.      :bigsmyl:

While I love my Kanati and it does more than I ever could, I really, really want to try a selfbow.
