Now that's a rub!

Took advantage of an amazing winter day and went scouting with the grandsons.  Think I may have to hang a stand along this trail next season.

That's a nice one, looks to be used for several years. Might want to put out a camera next fall if your so inclined.

So would I, Bisch.  It is a rub.  Old scrape and tore up branch about 70 yards west.  Too busy with the farm this season and never made it over to these woods to hunt.

Didn't hunt those woods. That's probably why he was in there. Make sure it's perfect before hunting it next year. Good luck and give us some pictures next year!

Sounds like a sound plan.  That looks like a signpost rub that more than one buck hits.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
