Keeping his interest
« on: January 24, 2017, 12:31:00 PM »
My son is 10 years old and has a great love for the recurve bow. Currently he has a Cabelas Ranger 54" and 20# which is sufficient for his needs but Dad is considering him a new bow for his birthday of a better quality. Something he can be proud to hand down to his children someday. I'm looking for a nice piece that is still practical but possibly upgradable. I thought at one point I remember striker or Stalker had a program that you could trade out limbs as they grew but I don't seem to be able to find this mfg. Anymore. Any suggestions?

I think Stalker Stickbows has a program like that. St. Joe River and Mad Dog Archery have great kids bows, but I think they are one piece, and wouldn't work for the growth program.

Was checking out stalker bows for my son also. Might email them and find out. Great bows and excellent program if still available
