cold temps,
« on: February 04, 2017, 07:02:00 AM »
I live in Chesterfield County Va and got up this morning and check temp and it is 18 degrees. Havent shot my bow in about two weeks due to work. Grabbing a cup of coffee then going to sling some arrows. I love shooting while its cold. Crazy I guess...lol. Just saying hello to all on tradgang, I look forward every day to reading this site such great people on here. Whats temps in your neck of the woods this fine morning???  God bless you all have a great day....

13 here in Branchville, NJ. Overall, been fairly warm so far this winter. Very little snow to boot. Waiting for the longbeards to start sounding off. Shouldn't be too long now.

It's gonna be in the mid 70s the next two weeks here in Louisiana.  Sure wish I lived somewhere that had an actual winter.

I have a lighter set of limbs just for cold weather hunting. Sitting for hours motionless and then trying to pull back 55-65 pounds never works that well for me. I have a 48# set that fixes this perfectly.

It's 12 F here and I'm not sticking my nose out the door until it warms up.

I sure would like to move WAY south someday. Winter seems so long anymore and I've grown to hate the cold.

Yesterday it got up to almost 20 degrees here in NW PA. Today its already a toasty 15 degrees and supposed to be in the mid 20s!  I like the cold, but if its gonna be cold I want it to stay that way. Freezing and thawing makes me want to move south and just stick with the heat. I must be getting old!

-6 yesterday and -4 today. Actually this month I'd be amazed if we don't have several days at -25 plus.  I'm forced to shoot indoors.
