Big Changes And A New Bow After A Long Hiatus
« on: February 12, 2017, 08:29:00 PM »
Hi all, it's been quite some time since I've posted around here. Hope everyone that may remember me is doing well and it's good to see the site is still going so strong.
The end of 2015 saw huge changes in my business life and I started my own construction biz separate from the one I ran with my dad. No ill feelings and I still help him just starting a new chapter and trying to ease the transition for him to let up whenever he likes.
Anyway the new business did EXTREMELY well last year. So well in fact that I didn't even get the chance to hunt. And I've NEVER missed a hunting season since completing my safety course at 12.
I never quit checking in here and other trad sites and in the fall came across a Centaur build spot with an immediate start time for sale. Centaur happened to be the first custom bow I've ever ordered and had always been the one to compare all others to. Work was crazy but I bought the spot vowing to myself I would build my "dream" bow and be ready for next season.
Jim was dealing with some things so I tried not to pester him about it.
Well, maybe some on here have seen already but I got the call Saturday that he loaded some pics to his Facebook page and my bow was finished. He took the thoughts I had and made what I think is a freakin sweet bow!!
Can't wait to shoot, tune, and most of all hunt with it this year! And hoping to check in here much more often as well...

Appears that the opportunities to more fully enjoy the gifts of life lay just around the bend.

A Jim Neaves creation may aid you in enjoying the traditional gift to its fullest.

Congrats on a both beautiful and special bow and welcome back.

Sweet looking bow and an interesting way to do a two piece! I'd like to see a pic of it broke down. Very cool!

I saw the pics Jim posted of this bow. She is a beauty. I kow you will enjoy shooting her. I love mine. I ended up adopting her from rescue services and she has had several previous owners. They all took great care of her and now see has found her forever home!!!!

Centaur one the BEST! Those bows perform and practically shoot themselves.
