With my Palmer 47# recurve I killed a doe with the big Palmer Extreme Cut 4 blade and a 200lb sow with a big ole snuffer.

I'd pick the one you are best at sharpening and keeping sharp. I prefer 2 blade broadheads. To me they are easiest to sharpen and touch up. I have never been able to get a 3 blade as sharp as a 2 blade. I know it's because of the angle but I like to see it shave hair. Probably a mental thing but archery is mostly mental so I go 2 blade.

Zwickey Eskilite 110 gr. glue on, Eskimo 125 gr. glue on, Delta 135 gr. glue on, or the Simmons Tiger Shark, 135 grain glue on. All are proven. I just glued on 6 Tiger Sharks on some Surewood shafts and I have to admit, I am truly impressed with their accuracy and penetration in regards to them being 1"-9/16th wide.

I used to think I couldn't use a 3 blade with my 45# bow untill but got 2 pass true on whitetails. I still like 2 blade though. Can't beat an old Bea Razorhead.

At 40 lbs especially, I would be using a 2-blade head.  There are many good ones, but I would stick to something around 1 1/8" or so wide.

My wife used 2 blade Zwickey Eskimos with good success from a 38# longbow on Minnesota Whitetail. The shafts were 5/16 P.O.C. shafts.   No pass thrus, but plenty of penetration to get the job done.

Probably going with a 40 or 45 lb bow.

Wood arrows.

Im looking at tree sharks or woodsman or snuffers.
Of those you mentioned I'd pick the Woodsman for your set up.
