I am having a set of recurve limbs, with the static tips, being made by Big Foot Bows.
According to Kirk at Big Foot they are very smooth. Give him a call, he is pretty informative.
I'll let you know when I get mine, hopefully in May.

I have heard nothing but good things about the bigfoot static limbs but I am more interested in factory bows at the moment. I know the real old bears from the 50's had some static designs but I am drawing a blank for other makers or other vintage bows.

I have had several RER recurves when Kevin was making them. Excellent performance........I also have several ILF Static limbs from Dyrad and I'm very pleased with them. Chad Holms new 64" River Runner has a bit more static design than his older model......real good shooter.

Longtoke I cant think of any production statics other then what you mentioned.
I know you aren't looking at customs at the moment brother, but if you do later on, Please do yourself a favor and look into the Javaman Assyrian if you haven't already.

My Stalker static is the smoothest and most quiet recurve i've ever owned and i've had a bunch. They are super nice shooters.

I'm not aware of production static limbs, all listed above are excellent, my favorite is Kwyk Styk.

ok, if you are looking for PRODUCTION static tip, then you can't go wrong with Uukha X-Curves. They just came out with newer material few days ago, but VX1000 series is great too.
not as extreme as Borders, but people have said uukha limbs are 'bomb proof' for reason. very very stiff and stable for such a tight/narrow limb end.
I have VX1000 Xcurve short on morrions metal ilf 13 inch, about 44pounds at my dl, and boy does it send heavy arrows FAST.

From up to down: RER XR , CariBow Tuktu EX 2 piece TD , Big Foot Sasquatch SS special, Border Black Douglas HEX 6.5 and Border Black Douglas HEX 6.7
These days I shoot most exclusively the Big Foot and the Border HEX 6.5
