My choice for footings and inserts is Golf Shaft epoxy. A two part, slow cure epoxy that can take shock of arrow hitting objects. I get it from Golf Smith

Golf shaft epoxy has also worked well for me in the past, it comes in fast or slow set, slow set is better I feel. My last ones I used the hot melt from Big Jim's and is working well so far.

Ive had good success with garden variety Loc Tite two part epoxy from Home Depot. I also prefer slow set.

Years ago when I was a serious golfer I used to make a lot of my own clubs and the epoxy is basically the same.

I've had very good success with JB Weld. I abused my stumping arrows and never had a problem with a footing coming off.

I had hotmelt fail on me, but never had any problem using whatever slow cure, high strength epoxy I could get from the hardware store.

The fast cure stuff might work well too, just havent tried it.

I use 2 part gorilla glue epoxy. It's cheap and holds very well.

Like others just run of the mill, 2 part slow setting stuff. No problems, and I am not very nice to my arrows at times.

Are you guys using the regular JB weld, or is there a JB Weld epoxy? Did I mention this is for carbon arrows?

I've only used JB Weld! Preparation makes all the difference I feel! Yes on carbons and I used just regular old two part JB Weld

Ok great, thank you Mr. Achatz. How are you liking your whip?
