Red River Hog Hunt

Paul Vrana was kind enough to host a few fellas including my father and I, Michael Arnette, and Justin Ammons.
Words can't describe how appreciative Dad and I were! Time, family, and money mean these are our adventure hunts. Places like Africa or a return trip to New Mexico don't appear to be on the horizon.
No hogs were downed, but not for lack of opportunity. Michael did "catch" one. Had a great time meeting some great guys!

Looks like a great time. I sure hated to miss this hunt, just didn't work out for me this time! Hopefully I can get in on the next one.

I really enjoyed this hunt and meeting all of these great guys. Seeing Arnette catch that baby hog (actually two) was one of the highlights of the trip. Bronz and his dad (who makes 65 look more like 40) made some great food and we had some good laughs. Justin and Bronz could do a stand up comedy routine -- very funny group of guys. The mid-day shooting session was fun too. After seeing these guys shoot, I can tell you the hogs were very lucky that branches/brush blocked most of the shots most of the time.
