Just Got That Call!

Just got off the phone with Mike Treadaway.  I've wanted one of his bows since I met him some 20+ years ago.  I've REALLY wanted one of his fancy bows with the arrow inlays, stacked riser, hand rubbed finish, etc. since I first saw one at Cloverdale at least 10 years ago.  Last year, after a long talk at the KY Tradfest (and permission from my wife), we made it happen.  Mike said my bow should be ready by the 2017 Tradfest.  Dang...I had tried to forget it, but now it's killing me!  I haven't bought a custom bow in a long time...looking forward to this one!

If you don't know mike, he's one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet, honest as the day is long, and makes one heck of a nice bow.

Mike is first class.  His arrow inlay hand rub finish is unreal

I got one of his fancy inlay bows year before last. It shoots as good as it looks.I will be there with custom wood arrows in a vendor booth. Love to see your bow.

Wait time is approximately 1 year...think mine is coming in a little less than that.  I forget the model, but I think it's the only deflex/reflex he builds in a 66".  Don't have a clue what woods he is going to use, I just told him to make it as pretty as he wants to.  Shooting for 53@30 (I wanted something 50-55@30, so we split it down the middle).

Now I have to decide on what colors I want in my string.....

I just got a call from Mike last night as well! He will be bringing my bow to TradFest too!

I ordered a 54" Black Forest 43@28.

As far as I know Mike doesn't have a web site--his sales are word of mouth, and he has been a year out on orders for as long as I can remember.
