Hey Pete, your gear arrived without you ?
I thought to myself, would I hunt in that type of weather ?, Of coarse I would, it wasn't that bad up there. Left my house around 9:00AM made one stop at a secret location for brunch, bagels and, apple turnovers, got up at Mike's place 1:00PM. Saturday wasn't bad at all. The food was great, Mike, you out did yourself this time, if you could only shoot as good as you cook, come to think of it, of I could only shoot as good as you cook ! Yes Mike, you can always gauge the quality and taste of the food by how much I speak and, I was way too busy chowing down to waste any time.

I was wondering how the day went. Couldn't make it as I was wending my way north for a family weekend in VT. But, since I was driving the NY Thruway anyway, took a detour on Thursday to visit Mike at the shoot site and glad I did. Shot most of the course with him and had a great time. Had 5 in. of wet snow in VT Friday night so was pretty sure Mike's location was getting something as well. Glad those of you who attended had a good time. Real troopers all. Will definitely make it next time Mike.
