Metal Riser Longbow Set Up
« on: March 20, 2017, 06:21:00 PM »
Who makes the best metal riser longbow set up? Would use for hunting and 3d. So many recurve options but not many longbow choices. Thank you
Take a deep breath and pick a spot

I ordered a set of centaur limbs almost a month ago. I have a few ILF risers that I could mount them on
They will probably find home on my 17" Titan riser

A friend of mine has a VPA 13" Vapor riser with DAS long limbs to make a 58" bow. The deflexed forward handle makes for an incredibly smooth draw, even at my 29" draw. The feel is very similar to my 58" Kanati and Thunder Child. Some of the longer ILF risers don't have the same limb pad angles to accommodate longbow limbs and are better suited for recurves.
