addition to the family
« on: March 26, 2017, 11:21:00 AM »
Hey guys i dont post much about my personal life but i wanted to share this amazing story with you all. in the early fall of last year i found out i was going to be a dad and found out i was having a daughter that would be due april 23rd. Everything during the pregnancy was going great and was a pure blessing since we had  a miscarry a few years back one of the biggest low blows of my life. Well at under 23 weeks we found out my fiance had preclampsia so we immediately went to the hospital and they admitted my fiance and gave her a few rounds of steroid shots to mature the baby, well after 3 weeks she completly turned the preclampsia around and they sent her home. She had gotten some blood work a week later and her levels were elevated again so back to the hospital she went. Well after about the third day she had severe pain which turned out her liver was in danger i got the call around 11 pm that they had to deliver the baby that night. They did a c section and delivered my daughter ryleigh she was 1 pound 8 ounces.Let me tell you i really got in touch with god with all this and she was born at just 27 weeks. She has not had one issue and is 36 weeks old today over 5 pounds doing amazingly well and should be home end of next week or the following. It has been very stressfull time but i love that little girl so much i cant even tell you. You dont know what life is until you have children its truly amazing having a wonderfull healthy daughter in my life. Really looking forward for my new hunting buddy and someone to shoot bows with in the future. God bless you all thank you for all your support and knowledge you all have shared with me.

Congrats on the baby girl! Preemies are tougher than any of us.  I know from experience having your first child be a preemie is scary.  Good luck!

Congrats and continued good health. My daughter is a NNICU nurse and the things they can do today with premies is absolutely unbelievable.

God is good. I and my late twin were preemies, 3 pounds each, and my dad said we could each fit in a shoebox and that was in 1950, but you could not tell it now. LOL. My 15 year old grand daughter was also a preemie, 2 pounds 8 ounces and she is strong and healthy. With all the medical advances now, preemies do very well.

Congrats, and thank the good lord!!  As Steve Jr. said, they grow up fast so enjoy every minute you have with them.  I have two daughters and both love hunting and shooting their bows.  My baby will turn 19 this summer, not sure where the time went.
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Prayers and congratulations to you and your family. It is great to hear that your daughter is doing well.  Children are truly the most precious gift we have in life, and daughters are something special. Treasure this time in your life, and tell your family every single day how much you love them.
