Tippit ( hope I got that right) showed a knife where he had made a very nice file pattern on the back of the blade. Does anyone remember the name of that thread?  Thank you.  Bue--.

Jeff puts a nice file pattern on the back of a lot of his knives.  Try a search using his handle to find some of his old threads or send him a PM - I'm sure he'd be happy to send you some pics.

Jeff,

I have that stuff waiting for you. I am not wanting to ship it across the line as with said items that might not go well. I'm working on it and will keep you posted.

Ive been lurking Tippit,

Man I was in agony during TXS07,
I was communicating some with Curtis over a possible trip to Tx with some other fellas from here early 2008. Had the money saved up and all
It ran out in the sand, for now, too far, too much$$,
Been on one short bowhunting trip since, great fun, but shot nothing.

I do have two tags on roe deer, so i will be hunting OK. Been close on a very nice buck, but he wont stand still. No bowhunting here, as you know. And not much beats stalking hog with JC and Terry anyway.

Man i would like to, (if Curtis would let me in) but i havent figured a way to tell wife i want to take a week off and spend 4k$ to hunt ugly pigs with a stick, along with crazy americans and rattlesnakes...and come back full of fleas and ticks.

Btw. I really like your knives, ill study them, and now that i have a garage too.. who knows.

K

Beeing there WAS good enough  :campfire:
