Heartbreaking, simply heartbreaking
« on: April 10, 2017, 09:02:00 AM »
Had two very interested gobblers at different times, right there at the back of the church, only to leave my beautiful hen singing at the altar..."when God made you, He must have been thinking about Thanksgiving".  I dunno, maybe the pianist was off! Always the bridesmaid...sad, sad, sad.

Keep at it.  Don't let being jilted keep you from the dance.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

In my opinion the Eastern tom is the hardest animal to consistently kill from year to year with traditional bows. I don't personally like pop up blinds which greatly improve results
