This afternoon I had some spare time. I used a 5 gallon bucket full of water and sprayed 3 layers each of white, egg shell white, primer grey, and flat black Krylon into the water. I pulled the horns off and dipped the skull. Cleared the water with a cardboard chunk and pulled the skull out. It came out pretty nifty. So then I took a soft wire brush and cleaned up the horns, then used a toothbrush and dish soap. I set skull and horns in the sun to dry for a couple hours.
After everything was dry i superglued some teeth, fixed a nose bone (should have done this before dipping) and mounted the horns. I sprayed everything with a couple light coats of clear Krylon. It didn't come out too bad. I snapped a couple quick photos.
Wall mount for the man cave. Thanks for reading along! Mahalo Nui,
