He almost had me
« on: April 14, 2017, 04:56:00 PM »
So I was putting up my double bull for turkey season. I had it laid out and my head rammed under it to pop it up when it happened.

He came under the side of it and attacked. Well, I thought it was an attack.

The neighbor's dog from a mile away came to see me unannounced, I didn't know he was on the planet til he made it in the folded up blind with me. He was just happy to see me!

Man I wish we had video of all the ruckus we had going for a bit there. It was funny after I found out it wasn't a saber tooth tiger or sumpin.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I said words I didn't even know I knew.    :biglaugh:

Had to pet him and talk to him after the excitement. He wasn't nearly as excited as I was....

Them dang friendly dogs anyway.  I had a chocolate lab and his fuzzy five pound side kick come and say Hi one day three years ago.  I gave them each a dog treat to keep them busy while i got ready.  I thought it worked, until when I was sitting on a hill side almost a mile from my car, I saw them trailing me.  I had a dog sitting on each side of me.  When a yearling buck came by they chased it away and came back acting like they had done a good thing and were begging for a treat and danged if i didn't have them in my pocket.  Whenever I park there I have no fear of being attacked by a deer, a coyote or anybody else, they act like my body guards.

LOL!!!! I was walking to hunt turkey and had an uneasy feeling I was being followed. I turned around and 10' behind me was someone's wolf Malamute cross. Huge dog yet never made a sound.
