was wondering if anyone had used these heads and what their opinion was of them. I was thinking of using them for elk hunting.

I used them back in my compound days. They seemed to work well but if I had a choice I'd go with a straight blade version

We stock both versions, sell probably 10 packs of regular Stingers to every 1 pack of Buzzcuts.

I like the buzzcuts. They seem to leave a bigger hole. I also shot the four blade version. You really can't go wrong with either one.

I have a cutco drop point knife that Is serrated and it can skin several elk before it starts to get dull, was wondering if the buzz cut would slice better being serrated. why the straight blade version? better penetration?

Not a fan. Broke 2 on deer, one being catastrophic and severely limited penetration. Better heads out there imho.

Wish they made a heavier version than the 150s.

I use them, and although I haven't used them on anything from a tradbow yet, I had a lot of success with them from my compound. They leave a big hole and penetrate well. Only one deer shot with them made it further than 50 yards. They're nice and sharp right out of the package.

I could be mistaken...But I don't think I am..
But, Randy (FerretWyo) killed a huge bull with a Buzzcut.
