Did you go and did you have a good time........??

Ron, we took a chance a drove 120 miles in the rain.
It cleared up right before we got there, and the shooting was great.  Some changes in the courses but for the better.  Mud wasn't much of a problem.  We did miss the 'food truck' as we were told he broke down on the way, and it would be awhile.  Had to get back home for 2pm, but all in all, we had a very good time.  Vendors seemed to be 'up' from last year.

I drove out there Friday morning with Tony Z. Got there early shot a course then came in and helped Tom Phillips unload his van then shot some more. With Shane Reed.  I could only stay the day but I had a lot of fun. Ran into my buddys Shick and Mikey MCgroundstalker. Always good seeing them!!

Rain was off and on Friday and Saturday... Heavy at night but left the daylight hours (shootable)... Was nice to run into many friends like Sean B, Kat and Aaron although I didn't shoot with them...

Used the walking stick you gave me years ago as it helped me on the rocky inclines... The usual safety ropes were not tied-in tight and loose footing had me almost airborne more than once... Wet rocks and mud, as an act of God, cannot be managed by the host club...   :archer2:   ...

No pics but had a great time. Shot all three days. Four courses Friday, three Saturday and two Sunday. Kind of petered out as the days progressed. Some rain but not enough to dampen the festivities although it did appear to affect the attendance.

Some of the trails, were, how shall I put this, a bit treacherous, but were navigated successfully and as far as I know, no one was injured. A few of the shots were changed but for the better.

All and all, another great shoot to start the season.

I missed it this year. Life gets in the way sometimes. Glad to see it was a great success.

Got there Thursday night, now living in VA I really look forward to this shoot to get back together with the group I have been hunting and shooting with the last 25+ years.  Great time.  Did it rain?  Didn't notice!  Had a lot of laughs and a lot of great food.  Next Stop ETAR!!!!
