New limb bolts on my Widow
« on: April 25, 2017, 08:04:00 PM »
Well, I finally got around to building some limb bolts for my Widow...I found some oddly shaped smaller Elk burrs and found that they matched the contours of my site window and my lower limb quite nicely...took a little figgerin' and cypherin' but was able to get them to tighten up in just the right spots

Please excuse my pictures.....I need to get some pics outside but the wind is blowing over 40mph up here right now...

That was my bow, recently sold to Danny.  I told the Roger and Toby what woods, no phenolic ( like the older SA's) no red etc.
The rest is all Toby . I have been buying Widows since 1994 , those guy do a great job.

I thought the same thing when Stan (Blueridge) posted this bow for sale....I was planning on pulling the trigger and ordering a 60th Anniversary SAX when he put this one on the classifieds...
I absolutely LOVE this bow and I can't imagine changing anything about it!! Thanks for the compliment and thanks to Stan for letting it go!!
